Jeannie Ortega Law is a singer, songwriter, actress, author, and speaker whose dynamic career spans pop stardom, faith-based ministry, and journalism. Born in Brooklyn of Puerto Rican descent Ortega's music career began in her teens when she signed with Hollywood Records. Her debut album, No Place Like BKLYN, featured the hit single “Crowded,” which reached the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Gold for radio airplay. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. That same year, she toured nationally as the opening act for Rihanna. 

 

In 2007, Ortega experienced a profound spiritual transformation, leading her to become a follower of Christ and redirect her artistic focus. Her most recent album, Letting Go (2024), marked her return to music after nearly a decade.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Jeannie is dedicated to outreach, focusing on issues related to suicide, identity, and faith. She actively supports those struggling with these challenges, using her platform to inspire and uplift others.​ Jeannie is an author and traveling minister, sharing her message of hope and resilience through writing and speaking engagements. Her multifaceted talents and commitment to making a positive impact continue to inspire fans around the world. 

Ortega now resides in Orlando, Florida, with her husband, Rev. Renn Law. Together, they lead Most High King Ministries, a global outreach dedicated to equipping and empowering people to walk in their God given destiny!

She spent the last decade as a Christian journalist.  Her interview expertise has landed her multiple one-on-one in-depth interviews with some of Hollywood and Christendom’s A-list entertainers and religious leaders, ranging from Denzel Washington and Mel Gibson to Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. A.R. Bernard, TobyMac and Kirk Franklin. Her coverage ranges from missionary trips to the mountains of Mexico with Samaritan’s Purse, to profile pieces, broadcast interviews and red carpets. She has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
